the annual post

This blogging thing is quite the challenge: so far, I seem to average once a year. Although, to be honest, I find it more fun to visit other people's blogs. I'm rather like one of the portraits hanging in Hogwarts: I am usually found lurking about someone else's frame!
In any case, thanks for stopping by. This year (2009) I am excited about a very wonderful short story, that'll be coming out in October: Spinning the Baiji. Please do look for that...
oh is that someone calling from the portal now? gotta run...

In the meantime: pop by The Wild Rose Press for the odd fun tale...

Sharing Writing News and Updates on the Works of Nancy A. Lidnely-Gauthier

Just released is the new mystery; A Case of Overkill.
for a synopsis or other details, please visit www.amomentincrime.com
This is an older style mystery, where clues can be collected as you go along: the reader has a fair shot at solving the crime by the time you reach the end.

Review: Jessica Conant-Park, author of "Steamed," wrote about A Case of Overkill:
"Told with vivid and beautiful descriptions, A Case of Overkill is a thoroughly engaging mystery full of detailed characters. With the white mountains of New Hampshire as a stunning backdrop to the story, Nancy Lindley-Gauthier's first mystery is a winner. A wonderful read!"
